Published paper Constructing Neuronal Network Models in Massively Parallel Environments. The paper discusses improvements to NEST regarding more efficient memory and compute power utilization during network construction in the realm of supercomputers.

Stopped working at FZ Jülich and started working at the startup fedger as a software engineer. I am involved in REST-API design and development, data management and data science, machine learning, cloud computing ... those are exciting times.

Published paper NESTML: a modeling language for spiking neurons. Inga Blundell and Dimitri Plotnikov together took the lead on NESTML and present their advances.

Student assistant position at the INM-6 (Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine) at the Forschungszentrum Jülich. I continue the work of my master thesis and investigate the multicore performance of the NEST simulator.
